Lanex was founded in Sendai, Japan over 30 years ago, building software for enterprises across Japan, the US, and Europe. We know what it takes to deliver across borders — technically, culturally, and operationally.
In 2018, we expanded to Australia, establishing our Brisbane base to serve the local market. We saw the same pattern here that we'd seen everywhere else: world-class Filipino engineers, and companies struggling to hire and burning through local budgets.
The gap was obvious — but the bridge wasn't there. Existing agencies either sent over unvetted freelancers or operated like black-box vendors. Neither worked.
